About Us
Welcome to Unioo, where we are transforming the way associations and volunteer organizations are run. Unioo was created with deep respect for the many unpaid and dedicated individuals who sustain Denmark’s community life. Our mission is to develop tools that make it both easier and more enjoyable to be part of a volunteer board.
Who are we?
The team behind Unioo consists of dedicated individuals with extensive experience in voluntary work within boards and associations. Our backgrounds span a wide range of sports clubs, local community organizations, and support associations. We came together through a shared motivation to change the way boards are managed in both associations and other organizations. We saw a need for more structure and created a product that fits into any democratic organization with a board and a group of members.
Our tools
Unioo was founded with a vision to ease the burden on volunteer associations by developing a digital tool that brings all board work together. The result is our digital board tool, where boards can:
- Share files: Share documents and images securely with the board, and avoid the hassle of locating and forwarding files.
- Plan meetings: Streamline meeting preparation by gathering everything related to meetings in one place and automatically send minutes to participants.
- Distribute tasks: Manage tasks with deadlines, assign them, and have them automatically created on a task list.
- Manage members and fees: Easily and securely manage the association’s members and membership fees with our membership system.
- Sell tickets: Sell event tickets online, accept online payments, and get a clear overview of participants and tickets sold.
Our journey and development
Since our founding in 2019, we have worked closely with associations across Denmark, which constantly inspires us to develop new features and improve existing ones. Our tools are developed based on our own experiences as volunteers, giving us unique insight and drive to create solutions that truly make a difference.
In the summer of 2023, a significant investment agreement marked the beginning of a period of rapid growth. We now have more employees, more customers, and more investors who bring valuable expertise and networks. Our diverse team includes data analysts, linguists, customer service representatives, technology experts, and eager, curious young people, enriching our approach to creative problem-solving and our commitment to user-focused solutions.
